The hotel is situated only a few minutes walk form the reservoir of the Biggesee, which offers a vast array of leisure activities. From boat excursions to surfing, sailing, diving courses and extensive hiking trails or bicycle tours, there is something for everyone here. Inline-skating, fishing, tennis and horse-riding are also popular in the area, but are enjoyed at an additional cost. There are bathing facillities in the nearby "Strandbad Sondern" or in the newly built "Erlebnisbad Olpe".
